LEICESTER have confirmed promising reserve Connor Mountain will definitely be part of their plans for 2019.
Mountain, who starred with 9+5 as the Watling JCB Lions defeated Somerset on Monday, has joined the club’s asset base after impressing bosses with his attitude and progress at all levels this season.
Team manager Simon Stead: “I’ve really enjoyed working with Connor since he came into Leicester, and also into Sheffield (in the Championship), and I rate him very highly.
“He has a good head on his shoulders, he does the right things and his machinery is very good, along with having good people in the pits with him.
“He’s a great prospect, a rider who is going in the right direction and someone we should look to nurture for the future.”
